About the Democratic Party for Change

Founded in 2020 in Baidoa, the Democratic Party for Change (DPC) is dedicated to transforming Somalia’s political landscape. Our mission is to establish a fair and inclusive democratic process that empowers all citizens. Officially registered by the National Independent Electoral Commission, we aim to tackle key challenges such as insecurity, inequality, and poverty. Our vision is a just and prosperous Somalia, underpinned by strong institutions and a thriving economy.
