Membership is open to any Somali citizen who supports the party’s goals and objectives, and who meets the requirements outlined in the party’s rules.
Membership Requirements
To qualify for membership, an individual must:
- Be a Somali citizen who believes in the unity, independence, and welfare of the Somali nation.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be mentally sound and capable of fulfilling the duties of a party member.
- Support the party’s rules and political program.
- Exhibit good conduct and maintain positive relationships with other party members and the general public.
- Have no prior criminal convictions against the nation or the state’s existence.
- Contribute the monthly membership fee, as determined by the party’s Executive Committee.
- Not be a member of any other political party or organization.
- Actively promote the party’s program and fulfill the duties and responsibilities of membership.
