About us
The Democratic Party for Change (DPC) was founded in 2020 by a coalition of politicians, intellectuals, youth, and women, the DPC aims to transform Somalia’s political landscape. Our mission is to create a fair and inclusive democratic process, ensuring equal opportunities for all citizens. Officially registered with the National Independent Electoral Commission (NIEC) on August 17, 2020, and later in April 2025 by the Independent National Electoral and Boundaries Commission.
